Grrr, Lost Odyssey is really annoying me, I am so close to several achievements but it keeps freezing!!!!

@ machina, it would probably be best to get Call of Duty 2 instead of 3

Worryingly happy about winning the Unreal race, was worth doing the Insane achievements after all!

The Act 1 insane and beating final boss on Insane were the trickiest.

Im not sure if this helps anyone who is interested in getting the achievements but here are my tactics:

Act 1 final mission (warfare):

Play a card to increase your team by 2 (this makes it easier to hold node 3 as per my tactic):
Just hold the middle node and set all your team do hold the position. Once you go into overtime you will control 3/5 nodes and the enemy core will go down quicker. Capturing / trying to capture the 4th node often results in you losing 3 and 2 very quickly. If you ever lose node 3 the easiest way to recapture is using the leviathon tank which spawns at your base. Remember that what happens before overtime doesnt count so if you lose node 3 with 5 minutes to go just delay your assault until right before overtime. Defending node 3 with the leviathon is quite easy!

Final Boss mission (dm against Akasha):

You need 3 human team mates and your tactic is basically hold the platform which has the rocket launcher. The bot always runs up the ramp towards the rocket launcher and its a case of just spamming the stair well between the 4 of you and you will kill her. Keep your heads tucked round the corner though because if you stick your head out she will always hit you from range, her aim > your aim, so close quarters is your only chance. Doing this 1 on 1 would be mental and similarly you have to have all humans. Its a war of attrition and its just a case of which "team" has more kills after 20 mins (dont worry about actually reaching 20 kills).

The other final missions are team dm so just reduce enemy count by playing suitable cards to even the numbers up and go around with the ai on your team and mop up the pieces with your rocket launcher.

The passive achievement (think its called Pacifism) on the circle mode (sorry im rubbish with names) is so annoying, I've reached 29 / 30 rings about 10 times and can never get the 30th, is this just down to luck and where the 30th ring spawns?

Sequence is really hard! Is it all about remember each "sequence" and then using the bombs sensibly to make certain stages easy?

Wax Off - havent really tried this very often but havent got beyond 71% on this yet.

Smile - not looking forward to this!

Surf - did this on my 4th attempt so was pretty happy here!

Machina, if you get call of duty 3 and want to do some online jobbing let me know..... i have 400+ Points on COD 3 and i aint even played it online yet.... looks like it will be a minimum 700 G's game

Barozi, yeah, the more the merrier, we can try get all the online achievements.... stuff like Supply officer and Doc ect, we'll have to all arrange a time for this and get cracking

I might rent it to try to get some of those achievements too. I hope the servers are better than they were before.
