That's me clearly not playing close attention whoops.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

This was my first avatar. The original was more HQ. Though I did change it a few times, to try to lure various female members into my gingerbread house, it was my main avi for roughly my first 7 years.

Gotta nuke something!

Anyways, my avatar has never changed.

As true today as it was......when it was written. That poster reappeared in an episode this season, but it was updated. More detail in general ,and darker colored skyline and ocean. Grim and gritty for the new millennium. OG is better imo.

Almost positive it was this:

Still looks pretty awesome, might use it again someday.

Well that's my lowest numbered one. Don't think it was actually my first one though.

Looking through my previous avys though.... so many bears! :O

Sorry Kapi, I though it was the lowest one, it was for me.
Apparently avatars get a random generated number.

To find the first avatar just search your username in the VGC avatar catalogue and look for the lowest numbered file.

Um... mine sure isn't, but whatever.

This is my first one:

...Yeah, I know. Weird days, they were. Rocket didn't become a thing until about a week after I saw Guardians of the Galaxy (about 2 months after I joined), which was when I was beginning to accept that movie as my new favorite thing of all things, and stuff. Wasn't hyped at all for it pre-release, in fact I didn't care much for the MCU at the time, but I sure was hyped for "Zelda Wii U" (lol) and I think that awesome Nintendo presentation at E3 2014 was one of the main reasons I wanted to join the forum in the first place, so it makes sense that'd be my first avatar. But it is weird to think I had a different character there once (...let's pretend it was only once).

Why would you be ashamed of a Link avatar? It's a cool one at that.

The first Guardians was very good, for me the main hits were the OST and humour.

absolutely nothing.  Been that way since I joined... whenever that was.

You've changed a lot since though

The numbers given for the avatar image files are random so the lowest number won't necessarily be your first one. Also, for old members like me, our first avatar predates the archive. Luckily, I still remember my first avatar:

And here we have the explanation, thanks Trucks.
It's one of the disadvantages of being old man, sorry.

I looked up in the archive but I doubt the image with the lowest number was my first avatar.

Look above ^^

I'm not ashamed (strong word, that) of it, partly because it did look cool, and it made sense given the hype at E3 2014 and still does given how good the game turned out to be, it's just... well, after almost 4 years of Rocket, it's strange to think of a time when I had a different character there. Rocket's my identity here at this point, and all that. By comparison, that first avatar was very generic.

You kept gulping at the other avatar thread

It was Alex and Nall from Lunar Silver Star Story Complete on PSX. Great game, great characters. Still using it quite often, like here on VGC. Wow, that's more than 20 years already. Time passes by...

Can't be bothered to fetch it but it was a photoshopped Playstation3 Halo 3 game cover. It was quite funny if I do say so myself.
