Oh, my bad, didn't bother to count the days it's been out and just used the generic term "first week" :p

I think these numbers are from the first three days only.

But as we all know, it doesn't matter. First day sales make up the majority of first week sales. Also every game releases at the end of the week.

This is a nintendo thread?  i don't go into nintendo threads dude.

Why do you lie so much is the next question? In the last 20 posts, you have been in four posts in a nintendo discussion thread. Also he should have worded it this way, "it's not fine polluting every  thread with negative Nintendo statements just because your don't like it, and them. If you don't like Nintendo, stay away from talking about Nintendo."

the discussion was about choosing inferior versions of games compared to other platforms, not really a strictly nintendo discussion.

My bad I got distracted and thought I were in a Nintendo discussion. The rest still stands though. If you don't like Nintendo, stop posting about them.

To be fair, he derails many threads, not just Nintendo ones.

it's get derailed by a very few people asking silly questions as to why i hate nintendo. just because you i have a negative sales prediction doesn't mean i hate a company.

Especially when Nintendo has over 70% of the weekly marketshare along with 13 of the top 20 games, you have to be reaching pretty far to come up with a negative comment.

I mean, are you expecting a flat 45-50k until mid October? I don't think there's anything particularly wrong about stating that with all that Nintendo had going this week it's a bit disappointing that they didn't push a lot more systems.  Bringing up Splatoon 2's release and how it rose last year's sales is pertinent info as well, and is as fair game to comment on as when posters would bring up supply-constrained weak sales from last year to say that Switch is way up compared with last year.

The problem is that he exclusively says negative things about Nintendo, trying to deny/defend that is just ridiculous. He rarely comments in Media Create threads, comes in this week full of positive things (strong Switch hardware, strong Octo debut, strong Toad debut, excellent evergreen sales) and starts acting "concerned" about its poor outlook.

With the expection of week 1 (New Years), Switch has not sold over 55k this year, 50-55k is what it sold the weeks of Kirby & Golden Week so expecting Octopath to give a significantly higher boost than that made very little sense.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Switch killing it this week again. Good stuff. Good sales for Octopath too!

So once again Splatoon 2 helps cause a rise in hardware sales despite being a year old. Great that it's able to do that, but it'd be nice to see some other games help carrying the load. Pokemon, Smash, and Yokai can't come soon enough! Also, Labo has finally fallen off the chart, but Kirby's legs continue to impress especially given it's well known that the game lacks content.

I think BotW is the biggest surprise for legs in japan in the last couple of years. A single player game at that

I know that was a complaint at launch, is it still true with the new characters they've added?

when switch was selling out in japan i did make comments in media create thread saying that it was a real beast in japan. And i have said a few times software sales for nintendo games are insane.

A new splatoon bundle, a somewhat big JRPG released, and preorders opened up for smash and pokemon. 2017 switch sales in japan are gonna make 2018 look really bad in the upcoming weeks, 50k is surprisingly low.

Boy you really don't like Nintendo, do you?

I love how he replied to your comment, not to the other 2........ I thought Quickrick wanted to start a discussion about why Switch didnt go to 60k+ this week......

That is impressive, but a brand new IP in a genre Japan isn't normally crazy about on a terrible selling console takes the cake I think. Obviously I'm biased of course!

The problem isn't the characters, it's the lack of levels and modes resulting in the game taking less time to complete than it's 3DS counterparts despite costing $20 more.
