I mean, the Switch has already sold 600k+ more units than the Wii U did in Japan. That's a rather low bar to celebrate.

Surely you have to take into account the fact that a large chunk of the userbase who owned a wii u & switch won't want to double dip & and also that the wii u was on the market longer, giving its userbase more opportunity to buy...

Donkey Kong is catching up to the WiiU-version fast

Fact that port/remaster is selling better than original game is reason to celebrate, and every Wii U port/remaster on Switch will sell better (at least globaly) than it did on Wii U.

Wouldn't be bad if Labo can maintain 10k/week but as said before I think it's gonna keep dropping. Time will tell!

Damn PS4 hardware really dropped this week.. :/ Seems like the stock issues still aren't fixed.

I really expected God of War to reach 100k+ this week, but it seems like I need to wait for next week.

That's expected drop for post Golden Week, same like expected that Golden Week is stronger than usual week. PS4 stock issues are fixed last 2-3 weeks.

Naa, that stock excuse is no longer valid. Stock issues have been fixed for at least 2 weeks now. Besides, if Sony still hasnt solved an issue caused by the last boost to the Sony baseline with MHW in Late January/February, they truly have only themselves to blame for any scarcity as such scarcity is not occasioned by any visible increase in demand.

It's starting to see some heavy discounting, so not sure how large the additional shipments will be. As long as it has good word of mouth, steady sales should be good enough.

Check out MyAnimeList and my Game Collection. Owner of the 5 millionth post.

Oh wow, 3750 yen for Variety? Jeez.
