Capcom expected 2m shipped at launch, which was 2 years ago. Compared to the Street Fighter IV series of games, it's doing way worse.
Also your numbers are wrong. Last info we has is that is has exceeded 2m and is approaching 2.5m (probably shipped).
Tekken 7 has already surpassed it in half a year btw.

Are Switch only gamers still playing Mario...or have they moved on to indies.

So I think this will stop the over-shipped posts. I saw 1 or 2 posters on the 5 Million shipped thread telling us that it's over-shipped.

Also, moving forward IMO a Switch exclusive is a bad idea. Multi-plat from day one is the way to go.  A Worldwide release also did wonders. I hope some Japanese 3rd party will learn from releasing it day 1 for WW.
Namco should take notes for Godeater 3 and KT for Toukiden 3.

That´s just amazing, especially considering the implications here:

-The series has finally succeeded in breaking through in the West and it´s becoming a gaming phenomenon, it wouldn´t have been possible if it remained confined to handheld systems

-It´s great seeing Capcom´s fastest selling game ever is achieving the feat on consoles, which leads us to the point below

-Success stories such as this, plus the PS4 and Switch success, warm our hearts in light of the fact a few years ago, there was scaremongering surrounding the death of dedicated gaming hardware by mobile (if you ever bought into it, that is)

-Capcom was in need of a major win, now show me RE2 remake
