It may build some excitement pre-release, but I predict once it has come out hype and interest will drop rapidly.

I feel like it will be the other way around. Mediocre launch, pretty good legs.

My reasoning is people may be excited by the concept shown, as seems to be the case, but once they have the actual product will see the draw backs, I'm not confident in the quality of the titles that will use these kits, nor do I expect the kits to last long even if the person using them wanted to for more then the first two hours.

500.000 is more likely

I don't think it will. The price point is that of a game with 10-20 dollars/whatevers extra. It will be sold out for sure, but it wont do amiibo numbers.

So yeah, I think this is going to be big.  Not going to go into a whole thing, but I just want to get this on record.  I think that the Labo Titles will be really big.  I also think they'll be, at some point, bundled with the system.

Totally willing to take bets on this.

Are you tbone51¿ I was gonna make a similar thread lmao

How much would you predict?

When I read the title I was expecting you to be the OP of this thread.

Agree, this seems like it could be the new Toys to Life craze.

I really think the robot one should have just gone ahead with a plastic shell. That's very expensive for something that will break in 10 minutes with normal kid play.

In my experience, not even 4-year old kids can break corrugated board that easily. Since Labo is advertised for 6+ year olds, it should be fine. Plus, if you're into hand-crafts (plenty of kids are), you could easily "repair" them or even make new units.

Still, I don't know. It will be interesting to see what Nintendo can do with this concept, because I really don't know what to imagine.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Well, this looks as bizarre as Wii Fit and we all know how successful it was. Now, it does look pretty hipster and we all know hipsters have been a considerable part on Switch's recent success, so it could succeed.
