Forums - Movies & TV - I just watched the Last Jedi and (spoiler)....

I decided already after Ep.7 not to watch those movies in cinema anymore. I buy the blu-ray. Did it with rogue one (i can't recall one characters name) and i'll do it with Ep. 8.
I am annoyed by this secracy anyway and I don't care about spoilers. Just reading this big reveal like "I am your father" will be topped...and it never happened...

And realistically, that one was random, nonsensical, and ultra-overrated as well. It didn't really make any sense with anything that had built up in the first two films and contradicts a lot of what was going on in the first one.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Its an overall good movie.
If your a hard core Star Wars fan you will be disappointed in it, like me. If you are a not a huge Star Wars fan you will find this movie to be great.
Had some great highlights and comedy relief and failed with character development and direction for me. A lot of wasted characters.
I was hoping to see more out of Snoke, and part of me wanted Luke to live on.

They turned Luke (The most powerful Jedi) into a scared old man. The guy who defeated Vadar and the Empire at there height of there power with all the odds against him. Now his scared of Kylo Ren? I don't buy it.

I agree with the op. Personally, I'm done with star wars movies. Disney owns it and sjws are too involved in the films.

What?

There's more and more backlash against this film. How is it possible for the audience and the critics to be so far apart from each other regarding this film?

About all the reviewers on YT that I follow and trust absolutely hate this movie.

Hey, if SJWs being involved means more of this, then I'm all for it!

You're correct to think his post is weird. He is commenting on how there is a black guy as the secondary main character. In my experience, most of the time people use the term "SJW" incorrectly; instead, using it as an insult toward anyone for not being a racist jerkass.

The originals had better gear.

That gear just looks weird.
