Sony needs to buy dke the shit out of Knack 2 with every console sold. Give away a free digital copy from launch until the end of the gen.

When I was young, you bought a NES or SNES and it meant you got Mario with it. If they want Knack to become a staple, they need to bunduru it to high heaven.

Graphics I think can go to Knack 2, simply because the first was a beautiful game, and this one looks even better.

Sales, no doubt Mario. Knack 2 is coming out the same time as Destiny 2. It's gonna be completely overshadowed, and there's really just not that much hype around it begin with.

Critics... Eeeehhh... Mario would have to do pretty bad, while Knack 2 would have to do significantly better than the first. No doubt it'll be better received amongst critics than the first, but I think 80's Metacritic is the best we can expect from Knack 2. Mario is almost guaranteed to be 90's.

I'm actually excited for Knack 2. I hope it'll be an 85ish game and turn into a solid franchise.

Unfortunately, it honestly has no chance to beat Odyssey. A game coming out during Halloween on a highly popular console's first christmas season will give it a huge advantage. The graphics for both games aren't groundbreaking. I'd say it depends on taste if you ask me.

All of these are wrong. Even graphics wise I see better use of textures in Odyssey. Also Super Mario Odyssey runs at 60fps and the original knack ran at an uncapped 20fps lol, Knack 2 should get a better frame rate but who knows.
