So he wants a fence and not a wall? But you already have such a steel fence or not? I think I get him, he realised it's not as cheap as he thought it would be and now he will just put some steel fence over the steel fence which is already there to have two steel fences duck taped together.
The wall is by far the most stupid thing he promised and the fact he has people in support of it really shows the intelligence of his... fans.
If he was smart he'd increase border patrol, invest in tech that detects and detains immigrants, or at least holds them until law enforcement arrive. Just doing these two things creates jobs that'll last much longer than a lousy construction job that'll be torn down as soon as President Pence takes office
Yes, I agree. It would be ideal to have it be transparent. And yes tighter border control would be beneficial for the USA.
I'd be pretty impressed if a Mexican living in terrible conditions managed to throw a 70 pound bag thirty feet in the air. Probably healthier than half of Americans
Why would you expect sensible comments from him? Its a moot point anyway as I dont think this will policy will get off the ground. Now that he has to pay for it.

The don't just dig holes next to the border lol. They usually start from inside a building or far enough away that it's not obvious to border agents. Most border residents, my self included don't want the wall. Especially those that own land on border.
It's a waste of money, that won't slow drug/people smuggling. Most the of drugs brought into this country are either driven in across the border or by boat.
I also find it funny that people actually believe that politicians, especially Republican, want to stop the flow of drugs from Mexico. They are getting rich because becasue of this "war on drugs". It stops, they stop lining their pockets.

Yeah, it makes me wish that this wasn't real, because a lot of what he says is hilarious if there's no implications.
