The don't just dig holes next to the border lol. They usually start from inside a building or far enough away that it's not obvious to border agents. Most border residents, my self included don't want the wall. Especially those that own land on border.
It's a waste of money, that won't slow drug/people smuggling. Most the of drugs brought into this country are either driven in across the border or by boat.
I also find it funny that people actually believe that politicians, especially Republican, want to stop the flow of drugs from Mexico. They are getting rich because becasue of this "war on drugs". It stops, they stop lining their pockets.
