most didn't realize that by the end of the year there will be FIFA 18, cod WWII, destiny 2 and battlefront II will destroy everything.

im pretty sure this is talking about single sku sales. many multiplat games are higher than BoTW when combining all formats.

Your logic is nowhere to be found, tons of people are buying a console for BoTW, you talk like people is buying the Switch and then buying Zelda just because they don't know what to do with it, wake up, BoTW and Switch success are very related. You give Horizon praise for selling so much despite competence with other games, but then you chose to ignore that Zelda on Switch is selling more than Horizon despite the fact that you need to buy a new 300$ console for it.

Great numbers, but I'm pretty sure Zelda has a much lower digital attach ratio than Horizon. I can't see a lot of people buying digital for such a large game when Switch has such a small amount of internal memory.

This so much. People didn't get a Switch then pick Zelda because there was no other choice. They picked Zelda and then shelled out for a Switch so they could run it. There's a big difference there.

How many people bought a PS4 for Horizon? Some, certainly. But nowhere near as many as bought a Switch for Zelda. And the majority of previous PS4 owners didn't pick the game up.
