Forums - Gaming Discussion - Xbox, Gamecube, or Dreamcast?

The best one is...

Xbox 77 13.03%

Gamecube 350 59.22%

Dreamcast 164 27.75%

Total:591

I’m gonna go with Xbox.

Halo 1 and 2 are classics, and it had plenty of other strong titles like Star Wars Battlefront, KOTOR, Jade Empire, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Chronicles of Riddick, Timesplitters 2 and 3, Shenmue II, Burnout 1-3…

Excellent and underrated console.

Dreamcast > Xbox > Gamecube

Gamecube was just amazing. Still is to this day.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I never got to play on any of them. Well, I played a tad bit of Harry Potter 4 on Gamecube, and a little of OG XBOX. But mostly I played on Wii, and then 360.

Dreamcast! Amazing console!

Dreamcast was great for Phantasy Star Online, 2D fighter, 3D fighters, Sonic Adventure titles were good at the time, Shenmue 1 and 2, Skies of Arcadia, amd other things.

I played very things on Xbox, like Halo, Doom 3, Half Life 2, Max Payne games, Fable, CoD titles, and numerous Sega games.

Gamecube was good for Dreamcast ports and Nintendo stuff, but I didnt spend much time with it.

I'm gonna put Xbox on top. I have nostalgia for Dreamcast but Gamecube is strong if you like Nintendo stuff.

A lot of Xbox games are better on PC now. But emulation is better than a real Gamecube at this point.

The one that has Pikmin 2.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I liked all of them. But, I'd say XB is my favorite, mostly because of Halo. Halo: CE holds the number one spot for most important game of my life. I had a ton of fun with it marathoning over thanksgiving weekend 2001 with my brother, and it helped to reignite my love for gaming.

Dang, I hate having to pick between the GC and Dreamcast, as they're both systems I loved during the gen. I had so much fun playing Smash with my childhood friends and later on college friends. There were other great games I enjoyed, like Tales, Fire Emblem and Skies of Arcadia. There was also the DC, which had the Sonic Adventure games, Power Stone 2, Grandia 2 and other fighters/rpgs. I suppose gamecube edges out, but I enjoyed a whole lot on those systems.

GameCube. It was my first console and very memorable for me.
