It was announced back in 2019 as a stand alone game before that it was intended to be DLC for Hollow Knight the game was due for release this year but got pushed back, this cover by Edge will be the first detailed look into the game since it was announced.

Seems Nintendo Europe is doing this playtime report thing too this year. Got this in the mail, it's all in dutch, but you should be able to figure it out.

Fire Emblem Three Houses being the most played game is no surprise. Getting through all the routes took a lot of time after all. XC 2 is a bit of a surprise, as it's only very recently that I started playing through that one again on New Game Plus. Guess time flies when you're having fun.

April through June was me working on my thesis, so that explains the lack of activity during those months. Pretty funny, considering that was during the initial Covid lockdown, so you'd think I'd have a higher playtime than usual.

For you Neanderthals using MM-DD-YYYY, 03-08 is August 3rd and not March 8th. I don't remember if there was anything unusual about that day causing my playtime to spike.

So Dutch people get it as well.

I didn’t, but writing this post I’m thinking it could be because I’m no longer subscribed to the Nintendo online? Was until a couple months ago when the free year that came with Mario Maker 2 ended.

I got a family subscription but no email

Fatal Frame producer wants to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary next year in some way.

Please be Fatal Frame 6 and not just a port of 5...

How do you guys even play these games? They're, like, strung across multiple different weird platforms and never got accessible ports besides one Wii version of 2 as far as I can tell I'm guessing it's one of those series where you can jump in with any entry? But ... even then I'd prefer to start with the original and welp...

Also in the database it looks like there's only 4 "brand new" games? Fatal Frame, Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly (along with 2 other editions), Fatal Frame III: The Tormented, and Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water. Am I missing something?

As Rol says, there's not really much overarching story across the multiple games, they're fairly self-contained, so each can be played in isolation.

And the one you missed was the fourth main entry, Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, which was only officially released in Japan but which got an excellent English homebrew patch with which I played it on my brother's modded Wii.

But yeah, the release patterns are a nightmare, even the Wii remake of 2 wasn't released in America and the Wii U game was digital only there too.

I bet it's going to be a Twitter art ?

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
