wario world on gc was bad, what with the game being so short and bland.

i havent played Wario World since 2003 when i was 11 but i remember liking it alot, maybe my adult self would agree with you though.

regardless i really want the Wario series to return, its been almost a decade since the last Wario platformer.

You got something to say, say it, don't pussyfoot around.

Thre is no pussyfooting on my part. Just you, for some reason, reading things I haven't typed and arguing with yourself.

I stated clearly what I wanted to state. You can't draw a general conclusion about a fanbase based on a very extreme opinion that obviously most people will disagree with. Even the most loyal, blind Sony fanboys have admitted they don't like certain Sony games. That doesn't mean they are not blind when it comes to most Sony things.

Similar example "Barack Obama has never made a single mistake in his life".
Obama blind fanboys: We disagree.
Unfounded conclusion: See, they are not blind, they don't believe he's perfect.
Reality: Of course they don't. But they may blindly support a thousand other things that are bad that he does or has done. Simply disagreeing with a ridiculous statement doesn't mean that one is not a blind fanboy.

This is my last comment here. If you are gonna twist my words again to fit your narative, have at it.

I think he means you cannot draw from this thread the conclusion that Nintendo-fans are blindly supporting the company. You say that this thread doesn't disprove the existence of blindly supporting Nintendo-fans. Both statements aren't in any way contradictory. But in this thread  was made the statement, that this thread show the blind support of Nintendo-fans. curl rightfully said this conclusion cannot be done and that statement was what you reacted too. Yes, you're not wrong, but curl isn't either. You just talk about different stuff. This thread only shows that some actually take some outlandish claims like the one in the OP to draw wild conclusions about the Nintendo-base. This curl correctly argues against.

I came into this thread reay to pounce at the OP but now I'm more concerned about the people who will take any chance they can get to throw digs at Nintendo fans as a whole. One poster does not represent the entire fanbase. Get the fuck over it.

One poster? More like 51 so far. Of course, they don't represent nintendo fans as a whole but sure it as hell doesn't help their image with stuff like this.

51 poster? Quote them.

You don't understand the difference between poll-votes and posts. Just look at the following post, to see that the poll itself don't say much:

Lmao this site will never change

I don't feel like this op represents the site at all... Even reading a few comments and you'll come to this conclusion. Poor generalisation is poor.

I voted yes.

Only that the Nintendo-fans actually disagree with OP.

This thread is full of Nintendo fans disagreeing with the OP.

I never actually said it was true. I'm saying SOME people can have that perception because1/6 people on this site judging from the poll believe Nintendo have never made a bad game ever.

So defensive. Feel bad about your statement?

I think we all can asume that nintendo doesnt make many bad games, as others companies do, but saying that never has made a bad game, is taking it a little to far...

Nintendo is also the most risk averse first party, the amount of new IPs Nintendo funds is emabarrasingly low

They keep making games with the brand names that give them nostalgia points in reviews. Even when the game are bad or subpar, take BOTW for example.

Bolded: I hear that often, and I always ask myself: how does Nintendo end up with this ridiculous amount of IPs, if they never invent some. Naturally if you ignore IPs like Denpa Men, Rhythm Heaven, Miitopia, Dillons Rolling Western, Pocket Card Jockey and so on, the number on new IPs is low, you just ignore them.

Italicized: Please what?

You are right

I know I might get some death threats for this, but I consider Super Mario Sunshine to be a legitimately poorly made game...

Have a nice day...

Never really understood why this is considered bad. I mean, it's certainly not great, but I didn't think it was bad per se. Is it cos of the juxtaposition with its industry-redefining predecessor that makes it look weak by comparison?

on another hand, if you only make zeldas and marios, you dont take much risk
