As if that weren't bad enough, Square-Enix is now talking about possibly going episodic with each of their upcoming releases:

As somebody who adores a lot of SE's IPs... please no episodic KH3 or Avengers game, that's all I ask (because it worked sooooooooooo well for Hitman like Ashley said, LOL). Release a full Avengers game on disc and then we'll talk about updating it with DLC expansions, mmkay? 

If you really must go the DLC route, a story expansion with a second Avengers squad led by Captain Marvel (and of course, new villains) after beating the game with the "main" team (Cap, Iron Man, Hulk, Hawkeye, Thor, Black Widow) is something I think people could sink their teeth into.

Honestly, I expect Kingdom Hearts III to be delayed even further than that. I hope we get it for the 20th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts in 2022.

Cant wait to awkwardly buy KH3 in my 30s despite waiting for it since my teens. Y-yeah its for my kids.

They just suck at making games..... compared to other developers.... considering zelda was announced in 2012 and came out in 5 years and it is a massive 50 hour minimum story.... and horizon was in dev since 2011 and was a massive 40 hour HD masterpiece as well , and square took 2005-2016 to release FFXV, and have at least been on KH3 Since 2012, and not even a trailer
To show it in gameplay beyond a level.... shows how much they suck

So basically neither is coming any time soon.

If you had told me 10 years ago I'd be playing more new Enix games than Square games in 8th gen, I would have thought they were full of it.

It feels like the Square side of things is drowning (slowly to death) in expectations.

Please cancel KH 3 and move resources to FF 7R and FF 16. Thanks.

Well at least it means I have a lot of time to play KH 1.5 + 2.5 and 2.8 and 0.2 on PS4 first

I don't understand why they show off these games when they clearly should have known that it was nowhere near release. They showed KH3 at E3 2013. Even if it does release next year, that is still 5 frikkin years.

I'm sure of KH3 and FFVIIR part 1 but the rest of FFVIIR may take more time , If it doesnt that would be amazing.
