It's doing fine. I guess it is having pretty good legs, but so far it's only outsold Skyward Sword and A Link Between Worlds. Although it might be the first Zelda to sell 1 million since OoT... but it's a loooong way there.
OT: Switch is again up WoW. It defied logic this time. Maybe it won't get a very big bump next week, but I doubt it. Pretty funny how it'll be able to outsell the Wii U weekly WW with just Japan at this rate.
Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Meanwhile the Switch started to outsell Wii U + 3DS lauch-aligned combined this week in Japan. In totals it's still lagging behind both of them, but it's only 45k behind the Wii U anymore, so that one may fall next week if there's some nice bump.
Those Switch sales are really impressive.It sold more than last week and the big release this week is that Spelunker game.People are probably buying it in antecipation of MK 8D?
And PS4 sales are a tad dissapointing.Its probably too early to say, but could this be the Switch starting to eat away the PS4 sales?Well, it certainly wont make things easier for the PS4 in japan in the upcomming months, thats for sure.
For the overall games, things seem good.Games like Nier, Zelda and surprisingly Bomberman are holding well.

Games at some point start to sell more and more to the existing base. Who buys a Switch-game on the other hand must practically buy also the system at this point. So you can't simply look at the relation of game sales to system sales (except for systems in a similar point in their lifecycle).

Then the Japanese would just start manufacturing themself, sending them to Nintendo, just so they can buy more. If in Japan you don't own at least five 3DS you are not considered a human being.
