People have been shitting on Nintendo's online services for a decade now and saying it needs to keep up with the Jones'. Now that it is doing just that, people are whining about it.

Don't get me wrong, I'd take the free services that are subpar to the level of PSN/XBL anyday, but if you want better, you usually have to pay for it.

Really? At least do what Sony did! Improve your service, then charge for it!

They said they are going to address what is going to improve and other things at a latter date, the first 6 months or so is "free trail".

Plus a lot of the problems this event had is pacing they probally had to take a lot out to allow for translations, so the event dragged on. Plus since this was a even for Japanese press and

It would be an easier pill to swallow if we could see the improvements now, indeed. But Kimishima told us practically nothing of the coming features, so who knows what to expect?

If they are doing paid online then their online service better be up to scratch cause as it stands now the WiiU online is probably worse than the ps3 was.

Well, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is better than what the Wii U had in its first year.

If you don't like Zelda, The Switch at launch isn't for you, it's just that simple. I think this will do better numbers than the Wii U but not by a whole lot.

I love how people are complaining about the $300 price tag. I mean, is $50 THAT much more that you can't pay for it? I mean, they charge $60 for new games.

I'll tell you one thing: it won't be fifty dollars that tell wether the system will take off or sink.

It will be to casuals who make or break consoles. if you're a parent and your kid wants a gaming console, why pick up a Switch with a weak lineup and inferior power over a PS4 or XB1 for the same (or lower) price with 3/4 years worth of games? For us, hardcore fans of our respective consoles, $50 is nothing. For casual buyers, might make all the difference.

Maybe, maybe not. We'll see in the coming year.

Launch title games definitely is one of my biggest issues, and them trying to continue with motion controls isn't good

Other games look good, but those two aren't system sellers
