Mine would hands down be Transformers Devastation.

Got it free on PS Plus and never looked back. The gameplay and music are just orgasmic together. I had to have beaten it at least 6 times already. Platinum Games is quckly becoming one of my favorite gaming studios.

The adventure genre in general is so underrated. Games like Ether One, Murdered: Soul Suspect and The Order: 1886 were all awesome at creating a compelling experience for me. None of them have stand out gameplay elements but gameplay is overrated.

Star Fox Zero ... Jk

Salt and Sanctuary. Even tho it got great reviews I think this game was mostly overlooked and not talked about, which is a shame cause its awesome and very challenging. 

 

EDIT: Also, Shovel Knight. Even tho it did great, it shoud've done better.  Because its awesome.

I bought Murdered Soul Suspect on a sale earlier and loved the game. Shame it got so much hate that the studio closed down. The story was so original and kept me at the edge of my seat.
