I was seriously considering getting a PS4 before this. Kinda killed that plan.

It's $10 a year. If you don't buy it on sale.

I does suck, but just like XBL it's easy to find deals for $50, $40, or if you're lucky, lower. This is probably one of the reasons the price went up to begin with.

edit: I misunderstood the thread the first time. I thought this thread meant you could ONLY buy PS+ for $60 now and that was the only way to buy it. 

If the 3 month PS+ is only $25 i'll just keep buying that one then, I never bought the whole year one anyway.

Anyway though, it's still shitty how they think they should increase the price with the types of games their offering for PS+ right now. The games better be more big titles then in the future if they're going to raise the price. 

Sony needs to stop acting so fucking arrogant everytime it seems for them to be in the lead for a generation. It happened with the PS2 and how after that generation lead they tried selling the PS3 for $599 US Dollars. They start thinking that since they're in the lead they can get away with shit that people don't want. And then of course when they have a console that isn't in the lead like the PS3 you don't see them trying to pull shit like this. 

Like, they are only bringing up the price here simply just because they can and want more money from it. That is the reasoning here. Unless it means we're going to get better games from it or some shit and a better online network, then whatever.

I only seen the sale in United States, as Canadian I have never seen the sale here (Only Xbox Sales here, might because they are losing). I typically have paid in three months, but I think after Destiny I will most likely disable it, as 29.99CAD, for feature set I barely use. 

A 10 dollar increase is a lot. I wonder if they have a plan to increase the servers or implement something beneficial to playing experience. Otherwise, I'm not digging it.

Hmm maybe they are going to change PS+ and will it announce it at the event, maybe more freebies? Maybe PS now is going to change...Free for psplus? (limited ps now free games changing every month would also be possible) expect a price change for other regions aswell.

Not alot of warning there. XBL Gold is still $60 here in Canada, so I don't see why they increased the price. In case you're wondering, PSN cards for a year are $50 right now, so its increasing by $20 here in Canada.
