What was absolutely disgusting was people questioning the logic of unchecked migration being decried as xenophobic racists.

The fact of the matter is Merkel's policy lead to a huge influx which I don't doubt for the most part are all people seeking refuge and wanting a better life away from the bombs and inhumanity in their homelands. However having no checks whatsoever also leaves you wide open to less scrupulous people exploiting the circumstances.

In the US we actually have a very strict system of vetting refugees.  The reason why is because we don't have to resourses to spend monitoring everyone nor should we.  Germany is doing a good thing by helping those displaced people no doubt but this reveals that the government hasn't done enough to identify risk. Or is that really even possible ? This in no way speaks to the multitudes refugees that haven't done anything like this...like all of them.

Well its too late to fix this now. Expect mroe of these attacks upon the German populace in the near future. 

Bit of an extreme way, but it isn't as far from the truth as some of us hope. We're seeing more and more muslims lashing out against Europe, and I have to agree in a way that it probably is for the best if we stop the mass exodus of these people from entering Europe.

What's more disgusting is people from countries not torn by war taking advantage of other people's misery who actually need refuge and not respecting the host countries' laws. While the actual refugees are in need of food and shelter, we see economic migrants not giving a fuck whether they disrespect shelter volunteers, throw food on the ground, or even worse, take that free food and sell it.

What they should have done is created guarded safe zones within Syria and/or made neighbouring Muslim countries accept more refugees where they could've assimilated into society better. Anyone can just throw their passport into the Mediterranean and claim they're a refugee and be accepted into Europe. It's fucked up

This is why I preferred the "heartless" Tory approach of aid funding being provided for aid camps nearer to where the conflict is happening. The solution isn't to just let everybody migrate across the globe to safer countries. It needs a concerted effort to stabilise refugees' homelands. Which yes, can't happen overnight, but is a damn site more preferable to letting the evil selfish pricks take advantage and turn global opinion against refugees.

I also have to add, if it isn't a refugee or foreigner who goes nuts, a native will gladly take that place instead.

BUT, going by refugee, we don't know what he went through, warcrimes etc. It could destabilize your mind and you go nuts.
