Forums - Sony Discussion - Rate Sony's 2016 E3 Conference

Surprisingly good. Better than last years desperate attempts at fan service.

God of War 4 - 7/10 - Don't like the series but this looks interesting. Seems like Last of Us / TR reboot meets Dark Souls
Death Stranding - 5/10 - No interest in Kijima
Last Guardian - 4/10 - No interest in this game
Horizon - 7/10 - The demos look good, buts its Guerrilla Games, they simply suck.
Call of Duty - 1/10 - No interest in this. As boring as ever.
Days Gone - 6/10 Ok reveal need to see more
Detroit - 8/10 - Looks really cool.
Spiderman - 9/10 - Probably the biggest surprise of the whole of E3. Insomniac are fucking brilliant.

Not sure what my overall score would be since I'm not interest in many of the games, but if I pick up a PS4 Detroit and Spidey are definitely going to be on my radar.

6-7/10

I not like a list of games with no release date, only the Last Guardian is for this year? Crash was dissapointing feel like we are years away of a new Crash game and not sure when we can expect the Crash remasters?

Also I am dissapointed in how they handle VR. It is the last PS conference to show it of? Liked Resident Evil VII. Should try that demo.

Do you realise how many exclusives PS4 has this year? Even next year is becoming packed with eclusives.... Persona 5 and Horizon in February alone.

Crash games are remakes... that is like R&C, should be really good.

You can't have everything right now, that's not how it works...

But I don't think I should rate a conference based on exclusives releasing this year that are not shown in the conference. And yes I realise it. I just don't like conferences anymore with games that not release this year and really dislike announcements that will not release for years and I expect some of them not to release befoer 2018.  My E3 dream conferences are announcements like what bethesda did with Fallout 4 and Ubisoft with steep, announce it and release it in a couple of months/6 months.  And I dislike it with every studio/publisher it is not just a Sony thing.

Jesus blesses Playstation only because of Kratos and Trico

REQUIESCAT IN PACE

I Hate REMASTERS

I Hate PLAYSTATION PLUS

8/10 easily the most I've enjoyed an E3 conference in recent memory. The pacing was immaculate and the games impressed.

Room to improve.
-Could have done with a real show closer.
-Slightly bigger reveals/better showings from third party.
-A handful of top tier indie games. Indies like Wild, No Man's Sky etc have been show stealers in the past. A shame there was no indie presence this show

For those who missed it: God of War is NOT open world.

9/10 It was awesome. I thought I was done with God Of War......I'm not. Days Gone looks great. Crash Bandicoot Remasters is awesome. Detroit: Become Human seems interesting. Spiderman by Insomniac might be cool. RE7 was a big surprise. Excited to see more of Death Stranding. TLG in October. Good job Sony. You won E3 hands down.

The format was almost perfect but the games themselves... did no-one else start thinking all these games are beginning to look very similar? No? Just me then.

4/10

9/10 - A very good conference
- The Crash Bandicoot trilogy PS4 Remaster is fantastic!!! Still can't believe it!!!
- God of War PS4 was annouced and looks amazing!!!
- Horizon, The Last Guardian, Day Gone, Death Stranding and Detroit: Become Human were all great too!
- The orchestra during the conference was awesome!
- And Sony's focus at this E3 was to show us games instead of talking. I liked this!

It would have been a 10/10 if they showed us a Crash Bandicoot trailer. They gave the Crash Bandicoot announcement only one minute. The game announcement deserved more time imo!
