His question really meant what phone is more "popular "

Doesn't seem like it. He already knows iPhone and Samsung phones are popular. He just wanted to know which of the two choices had what he was looking for. And the Galaxy S6 active seems like the perfect phone for him.

It does but unfortunately we don't stock it in fact I'm not entirely sure it's out in the uk yet

Well there's your problem. lol

I admit I can be annoying sometimes, yeah.

After working as a customer services rep for Boostmobile and Time Warner Cable, I can agree that dealing with customers is one of the worst jobs I can think of.

BUT in this particular case, I can't see why you were so annoyed by this customer.  The person asked specifically for options A and B, and you gave him option C.  And while it is true that he/she should have listened to your advise, if you're gonna get annoyed by such small things then your days working over there are going to be much worse than they need to be.

Customer are imbecile and I don't pity them when they do silly choices or are sucked up on the most expensive item because they wanted some idioticity they don't know

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Considering you are also a customer when you buy something. So you're calling yourself and 7 billion other people imbeciles. Generalise much?

P.S. It's a joke

P.P.S. You're not an imbecile

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

If I decided to trust a seller instead of doing my research I would already be idiot... but them to ignore his advice and just pick anything more idiot =]

It really is just this, I don't get why it was so hard to get to that point. As a customer, I would just go to the next mobile store, if someone tried to make me go into a brand that I don't really care about.

Oh well, the same can be said of most store clerks

I have no recent stories because they annoy me so much that I jsut avoind them (and shop mostly online now a days anyway, I hate people trying to "up sell" me stuff... or give me the information that is written on the cardboards in the store... I CAN READ).

Exactly. The moment I sense a salesman getting annoyed because I'm not interested in his product he's pushing, I'll ask to speak to another salesman, because I'm done with that one.

Customer - I want a Iphone or Galaxy.
You - Buy PS4.
