I don't think there are any more fickle consumers than the Japanese. Last week you had 55k for the PS4 and one would expect in any other market for the drop off to be steady, but in Japan it's straight back down to the base average. Very odd market indeed.

The problem is that you are treating SMM like a traditional Mario game.   I think it did pretty well considering the type of game it is.
