A younger face would be better but then again, experience is really important so I'd go with Miyamoto

I don't think a Nintendo would hire Bill or Reggie to be president of the whole thing, and I'd prefer that Miyamoto stay a dev (don't give him too much power). Both Shibata and Miyamoto are quite old, I don't think they'll understand us to the full extent we need. Sakurai is younger, he's very devoted to what he does, and the job would suit him as he wouldn't need to be making games all of the time, though he can still make some, and bothering his arm.

bet: lost

I'm pretty sure he said at one point that he doesn't want to run the company, he prefers to develop games and being CEO would take that away from him.

I want sakurai tbh. I think a younger face for Nintendo would help going forward

sakurai is realy struggling to make one game, he cant be president and makeing new games.

Thats assuming he even wants to make any more new games considering how some of his interviews shows that he doesn't want to continue to work on stuff like ssb anymore. This way, he will be president and possibly coming out with unique ideas while overseeing some games as well. Sure he may not have the time to make any new games but I think overseeing games isn't such a bad thing either

and they couldnt fire him, he would hav to serve as CEO till he dies or resigns on his own.

Miyamoto

I hope Sakurai takes it.

I think Miyamoto takes it short term, than hands it over to Sakurai.

As much as I'd like Sakurai to take it, I'm not sure his arm would allow him to handle the job well. Yes, he wouldn't make games anymore (or as much, at least) but there is still a lot of stuff you have to do with your arm people...

Sign documents, type/write emails CONSTANTLY and memos to co workers as well as people from other companies, Shake hands with anyone and everyone to uphold the Nintendo image, etc.

I think we greatly focus on how his arm is impacting his ability to make games and don't think about how it is impacting the rest of his life. Based on his more recent comments, I'd assume he was leaning towards an early retirement so he doesn't overtax his arm to the point that it doesn't function the rest of his life (if you've got the money, why injure yourself more? Same goes for stud football players).

I said this in a previous thread and I will say this again. My conspiracy theory is that Kojima left Konami to take the reigns as the new President for Nintendo!

Also, there is some news regarding Bill Trinen I put in the OP.
