I predicted 350k for Wii
big releases have always been accompanied with higher allocation of Wii's. And if SSBB isn't big, it's epic! It's huge! It's massive! It's gonna break records!

I don't think it will pass 10 million, but it'll be close! 250k maximum I think.

300k in a week for Wii = no.

actually that's happened multiple times (i think 2 weeks ago it happened) and this time, it def. will because of the launch of the biggest wii game of the year. I'm thinking 500k+ this week.

270 K
so .. yes

Hmm.... my only concern is that (last I saw recently) NPD's own numbers put the Wii at just over 8 million in USA, and I doubt Canada would make up that large of a number.

And yes, while I do want to support ioi and vgchartz, I just don't feel it's wise to jump on these numbers.

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

I'm guessing 250-350K sales, probably more towards the 300K mark, so it should pass it this week. :)

Now the numbers are out... and a surprise for me, even with record breaking numbers for Smash were not enough Wii's sold to break the 10M-mark. I must say I'm a little bit disappointed. Stock-piling-theory crumbles into dust. Great numbers for Smash though.

10 years greatest game event!

I guess Nintendo didn't stockpile after all, they just aren't able to produce enough Wiis.
