That´s it, few people was expecting big things from this, but after the NWC I´m pretty sure this game can be really huge, the game looks insanely fun and plenty on possibilites. So much potential here.

 Do you think this could be a success for critics, sales and personal enjoyment? Why?

                       

After seeing the NWC, I don't see how this game could do poorly.

Agreed; it's heavily overlooked and underestimated.

Given the popularity of UGC games like Minecraft these days, if Nintendo play their cards right and give this the Splatoon treatment, it could be huge.

mario maker is a dream come true.

ever since the first time I played it 20 something years ago I wanted to create a level

I wasn't into this at first (I love the idea of it, but I am not a fan of 2D platformers...) but holy cow.. I think I want this now.

I think nintendo should do one of these things at Mario Maker Launch:
1) Mario Make Limited Edition 30th anniversary Mario Bundle (special console design)
2) Mario Maker Wii U bundle along with a $50 price drop....

and if they combine them I see Wii U doing 200k that week... possibly more.. Nintendo has a winner on its hands..

The game is going to be endless fun. Honestly, the game is certified to be a success.

Yes, this could be awesome and big. They just need to play the cards right, like they did with Splatoon and Mario Kart 8. It's one of those games that don't look stellar but when you get to play it you love it. It kinda has a Minecraft appeal to it too, so maybe this could be big.

i was interested in this game before but after seeing NWC, hype levels are off the charts
