It's been awhile since I posted here. I've been keeping up on my lifting schedule since I started in January. I notice a difference, and so do other people. It always feels good when other people acknowledge the work you have put in :)

The only down side of spring and nice warm weather is removes any excuse to not run.

Trying to work on a respectable 5K time when I just want to keep lifting stuff.

Clean and jerk work:

20 reps - 70kgs
10 reps - 80kgs
1 rep max - 90kgs

Hahahahaha we're in the same boat. One of these days I'll take my bike to the gas station to fill the tires with air, I swear!

I'm currently alternating between arm days and ab days.

On ab days like today, I do 4 sets of 100 crunches, and 4 ninety second planks. I should probably do situps but I really struggle with them, its hard for me to keep my legs still when I do them, they tend to lift off the ground or bend involuntarily.

On arm days I do 4 sets of 75 pushups. I am increasing my sets by 5 pushups every month, my goal is to get to 100 pushups per set.

Goals:

-work up to a 60 minute walk with a 80lb weight vest.
-further decrease bodyfat, at 8% now.
-get larger legs, and forearms, stronger grip.
-be able to do a dragon flag, and a L-sit
