While its true that my opinion is subjective and i hate remasters, are you guys really downplaying the $60 price tag because you love the Uncharted franchise? It doesn't make sense to me, why anyone would get so hyped about wasting $60 to play the games they already played a few years back. If I'm giving people in the thread a reality check, and I sound negative, I'm deeply sorry, but i hate when publishers try to squeeze more dollars from their fans. I own the original trilogy for PS3, and I wouldn't buy a remaster for that price.

You mean when a publisher is doing its job, or when a company try to make money? How dare they!

If you're taking the side of a corporation, you probably have stock invested in them. To each his/her own I guess.

Exactly Halo is not named Master Chief 1 2 3.... The Halo collection is much different than Halo The Master Chief Collection. Uncharted has not featured a game without Nathan Drake, there was no need to try to seperate his name like there is some addition lore. Halo has ODST and Reach, which did not feature Master Chief.

But the "masterchiefless" ODST is in my Master Chief Collection... they tricked me. ;)

Who gives a crap about the name... seriously.

Should've come up with a more original name, sounds too much like Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

And The Master Chief Collection sounds a lot like The Sly Collection, and Jak and Daxter Collection.

It's Halo The Master Chief Collection, which makes it different bcuase the name of the games is Halo. Sly is actually the name of the games.

Sly is also the name of the character. Same for Jak and Daxter. Speaking of desperate, you're reaching far now. It's not different. And these are but two of several other examples, both in videogames, and in movies.

That Xbox fans somehow think MCC was the first to name it this was is baffling.

Now you're really reaching. They're using the main character's name. It's Uncharted: The Nathon Drake Collection. Not 'The Nathan Drake Collection' now please go back to ignoring many replies to your inconsistent arguments.

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

They probably put Nathan Drake in the title so they can push the character and make him a bigger "name". Such a strange thing to complain about.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Weird that Sony is using the same name pattern as Halo:MCC.

Well, may be they figured that MCC was a great success even with the first months problems with multiplay it´s possible the public is more interested in singleplay.

I guess Microsoft thought the Sly Collection and the Jak and Daxter collection were a great idea too.

You mean naming a colection with the name of the game + the main character?

Or do we have "Sly: The Sly Collection"?

And let´s not ignore that both game you mentioned are far far far below the level of Halo and Uncharted.

However, my point was that Halo:MCC made a little sence because there are other Halo games without Master Chief and that collection had a ton of ties with his history leading to Halo 5 and finishing with Halo 6.

IIRC Uncharted has a more episodic nature. Each game independent from the others with Nathan in all games.

If Sony was using the same pattern, then it would've been called The Master Thief Collection.

Thats actually a good reason imo.
