i love everthing about the trailer and new art style except the way they made the palico, the design for the palico seems cheap and slapped together compared to everything else.

Relax. He was just asking a reasonable question. It's not like Monster Hunter is first party. Also, there is no "contract." Capcom makes MH on 3DS because they want to, not because they signed some imaginary contract.
