With all my respects, Curl, you are one of my favourite users in this site. But I will be quoting you on a few months, along so many other people, and I will serve you a little bit of crow, but i´m sure you will be happy to eat it.

My whole perspective of the situation make the 80% of this comments feel ridiculous to be honest.

1. Nintendo is losing the investors interest, so they announce that they will be bringing some little F2P games to mobile with the purpose of  bring people to their consoles again. Results: The investors are happy again, Nintendo is 30% up.

2. But, if they only said that they are going mobile, then people will panic thinking that they are not doing consoles anymore. So they announced that there´s a New X console coming on the future, so no worries about.  Results: People panic because if they are talking about a console is because is coming now and killing the WiiU.

3. The Zelda development is slower than they thought and they want to make a game that lives up to the gigantic hype that the game is having. So they make a video to say the people "don´t be so hype this year because is not coming" instead of making the train hype longer and more underwhelming. They love to make a huge hype of this games when the date release is relatively near. But is not near anymore, so they skip the E3 to focus on other big games coming this year instead of eclipsing them all with a game that is coming too late for any hype and they are going to show some other new game/s instead. Thanks to that, Zelda will probably be the masterpice all we want and other new games have a chance to sell more. Results: Nintendo is evil, they have lied to us, they are not bringing Zelda to WiiU, this is the launch game of the New X console, any other game is not worth a shit, I´m never going to buy any other Nintendo console ever, they are stubbing us on the back, they are not doing any other game for WiiU, blah blah blah

I would love to be absolutely dead wrong about this, for Nintendo to surprise us at E3 with new high profile Wii U games, fill the rest of the 2015 with a steady stream of software, and deliver an incredible Wii U exclusive Zelda in 2016.

As far as Splatoon goes Nintendo has only just started to let people see details about the single player campaign in the game, that seems quite interesting. I'm sure there's a fair bit more to find out about the game. I don't think Nintendo has said they won't show anything of Starfox until E3, so we could find out new details and see a short glimpse of gameplay before E3, maybe some screen shots of the cockpit of the Arwing or the Mothership, even something with Fox and how he'll look in the game.

Devil's Third could get new gameplay.

Nintendo needs to go heavy on Splatoon, they could show a few more stages of the multiplayer, maybe new levels or modes in that. Fire Emblem hasn't had any gameplay shown from what I've seen (maybe I'm wrong about that?), so that could have something shown about it.

It depends on how much diologue is actually in Xenoblade, but it could end up launching in late May or around E3 time in the west.

I think Yoshi is supposed to be a Q2 release, so that will need some new details given about it, unless it's slipped into the 2nd half of 2015.

Yeah, this has been outright terrible. They need one very soon. There are barely any games being released, with barely any coming later in the year. A direct needs to happen to assure us things are still going well, and that more games are coming... u_u things are looking grim atm...

the next Nintendo Direct will probably come April 12th-14th, give or take a week. if you spent your time doing research and analysis then you might realize that. however instead people think they have to constantly put out Nintendo Directs and announce new stuff, which is dumb and unreasonable.

As far as games go, you have to consider that people are still catching up on the end of 2014's games. Comparing the Kirby game to an eShop game is just stupid and insulting; you might not like Mario Party 10 but it's still a full retail game and you're just being unfair and unreasonable if you aren't considering it; they also put out a Mario & Donkey Kong game; there are also lots of quality eShop and VC titles; and this is already better than what we got last year (Donkey Kong Country followed by Mario Kart 8 with hardly anything in between, eShop or otherwise, good or bad, compared to the indie support etc. going on now).

people need to grow up and stop being such unreasonably whiny bitches... and I need to stop reading forums with these kinds of people so I can stop being the idiot who feels compelled to respond when it'll only end poorly for me (not that I read responses, I just post and disappear)
