1. they dont need to pour millions of dollars into a game to make it profitable.

2. they can be profitable off of 20m console sales

3. they are virtually unaffected by all the crazy crap that happens in this industry.

what are your guys' thoughts on who will make consoles the longest?

Yeah, I think Nintendo consoles will be around the longest.

I want all 3 companies, including the pc gaming community, to last, not just one.

i think most of us feel that way, but thats not always the way it works out, right?

I agree that Nintendo will stick around the longest but I don't get what you mean by #3? Are you referring to the hacks or?

I believe in 10 years video gaming will be majorly digital and Nintendo won't know how to handle it. MS and Sony are getting ready for the inevitable.

But that's just my take.

Not sure what you mean by that. Nintendo has been very agressive with digital games in the past few years.
