Humbled that Ninty fans have voted more for the PS4! I've a healthy respect for Ninty, must be something about those Japanese companies :)

Even though Ninty and Sony fans fight it seems we root for each other...japanese companies stick together :P But would Sony fans pick Wii U over X1?

I wouldn't pick up either because I don't have enough time for my PS4 as it is. I got a Vita as a present and use it maybe 10 times a year. Ninty games just don't appeal to me anymore but if I had a family now I'd def by a Wii u for the kids to play. Wouldn't by an Xbox ever I don't think.

I wish Sony and Ninty would merge as one company. Over all SOny is bigger but they're bot a million miles apart. And Ninty have potential to make huge money on the mobile platform in future so they won't be getting weaker anytime soon. They would be an incredible partnership for gaming considering their audience doesn't clash too much, would be the perfect console for gamers of every type.

i don't think it's necessarily good will for sony so much as it is healthy hatred for microsoft. you still won't catch me playing crash or spyro or focus-grouped-to-death stuff like littlebigplanet over a proper nintendo platformer (kirby/mario/yoshi/wario) or uncharted/tlou/beyond over a proper adventure game (zelda/metroid).

Yeah I agree but I disagree with your description of a proper adveture. You will get the best adventure games on the PS4. Most are made by 3rd parties but they're not on the Wii U or 3DS. If you like adventure games you're missing out. So was I when I used to only play COD every day.

I put see results because I don't care really.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

well i have played uncharted 2, which is usually held up as the peak of "adventure" offerings on ps3, and tbh i came away underwhelmed, but not nearly as much as when I played tlou. adventure =/= interactive movie spliced together by passably mediocre gameplay. you're right cod is the greatest offender (press square to win), but so are the yearly assassin's creeds and the like. the only other adventure game from a third party i can think of as being decent is the tomb raider reboot, and that's now a timed ms exclusive and largely cut from the same cloth as uncharted.

now i will admit i'll play any of these games over crackdown, gears and halo 5000 the cortana collection (now with functional matchmaking!) any day of the week. but not joyfully, and certainly not with the kind of satisfaction the best games provide, which comes not so much from the story as from the gameplay mechanics.

I don't care but to reciprocate to sony president who owns two wii u and loves them plus the fact he adores nintendo/its games and especially mario.(he had said that he is obsessed with 3d world)i will vote ps4 looool....

You'd think the vote should heavily favor PS4 because Nintendo fans love Japanese style games. Quickly, name me four exclusive AAA Japanese developed games for Xbox. No? Ok, how about three? No?

It just makes more sense imo.

Though I'm fully aware it has 0% chance of  happning, I'd rather it went to Xbox One.

I don't think one company dominating is good for gaming, and I generally prefer Microsoft consoles over Sony ones. (With the exception of PS1)

MS also seem to still make games as games, where Sony has become too cinematic for my taste.

i'm not saying games like that. Uncharted and the last of us are linear adventures and couples with their online are great games. Especially the LAst of us. That online is unique and i completed the 14 weeks twice on it.

I mean proper adventure games like far cry 4, even GTA 5 or shadow of mordor would be more adventurus than the uncharted games because you explore a big detailed world instead of following a path.

There is more good adventure games on Sony/MS consoles than nintendo platforms such as far cry 4 or dragon age inquisition. there are a lot of games like that and for the world to be big, detailed and graphically good you need the PS4 or the X1. You just don't get games like that from Nintendo consoles. Nintendo offer some top top games but they are much fewer due to the fact they need to make most of them and they are much more basic due to the weaker consoles they run on. Obviously you and many others prefer their games, i'm just in the group that prefers the games on the ps4 ( a lot of the best being 3rd party).

I dont really care who wins even though i just bought an xbone myself, got it sitting right next to my wii u! I actually think ps4 will have a more diverse game library eventually but for now halo is the first next gen game that has me excited enough to spend $300.

bold is really silly considering you mentioned GTAV which is a gen7 game that was just ported to next gen consoles, and Dragon Age being available on gen 7 systems I doubt the latest dragon age is much more complex.

it's not silly at all. The Wii U could run most adventure games to an enjoyable level. Black Flag an example. It's problem is developers don't bother making their games for it. But power is very important. I wouldn't enjoy a single adventure game on the 3DS or PSVita because they are too basic for me. Play Far Cry 4 on the PS4 on a 55" Bravia and nothing comes close graphically on the Wii U. Those grahics really ad to the sense if adventure.
