I don't quite get the negative remarks...it has a shutdown system to only allow it to take a safe amount of blood so how is this any worse than just normally donating blood?

I pity the bad player who gets the worst K/D ratio.

This is not a good idea. Losing blood, even while donating, can sometimes cause the donor to faint.
