What general trend? These are the sales difference between PS4 and X1 for the last 8 weeks.

9,931-6,145=3786 (~62%)

By the way, no one else noticed it seems but PS4 has been adjusted up from 473k to 559k during Destiny week.

I expect the X1 to jump around, probably climb up through the holidays before it absolutely crashes in January. After that crash, it won't recover until either a price cut or Halo 5. It'll have a sub 60k baseline for most of 2015.

I was actually surprised that the X1 has already fallen below 100k, especially during a month where "the real battle is" according to Phil Spencer. And considering how the X1 fell out of the map at the beginning of this year, I can't imagine how badly it'll do after this holiday season...

I dont usually post on the HW threads but now I know what it feels like to be a WiiU owner and Early PS3 adopter.

The X1 number makes me sad, MS has more than delivered on the games so far yet the numbers are shockingly low, it deserves a lot more than this

I have no idea how MS expect to turn things around. Sony aren't even trying and they are just obliterating the competition.

PS4 keeps steam rolling through the competition every week.

And damn, you know FH2 flops when DriveClub opens higher in the US (Maybe Globally too) The fact that people would rather attempt to play a broken game instead is very telling. Metacritic scores really do mean jack shit.

Oh and bye bye China, it was fun while it lasted homies! :)

Userbase matter for low-mid sales games... 12m PS4 will buy more DriveClub than 6m Xbones will buy FH2.

This is a good thing if people dont blindly trust reviews.

 

That means Evil Within could sell very well, because it deserves it, being the best game of the year
