Sony is in great position with PS4 sales, beating Xbox one in every department, But lets not deny the fact Microsoft has an ace up its sleves and that is Halo MCC, I would be surpised if the said collection doesnt turn out to be a system seller, infact i believe MCC along with CoDAW and AC:U (exclsuive content) has the potential to take away top spot from PS4 for a week or two or maybe not considering that PS4 has GTA V and Little big Planet 3 coming around the same week.

So I want to know is it enough or Sony needs to be cautious and counter Halo MCC hype with some kind of announcment New IP or Uncharted 4 gameplay or too be more ambitious and release the Kraken by reintroduce The Last Guardian?

i think they do need somehing i just dont know what they are going to do, there was some rummors of an unnanounced game to be revealed at TGS that would come out later this year but that never happened.

Sony doesn't need to counter everything MS does you know.

Nathan Drake Collection?

I can't remember the last time an HD collection was a system seller.

Unity doesn't have any exclusive content for Xbox, just a marketing deal.

besides launching together out of the gate what else did sony counter (titanfall, price cut?) and IMO Halo MCC is the first geniune threat to sony since launch last year.

yes you are right. but this is Halo! and not to mention MS and 343 have been marketing it around Halo 2 which Looks great for a remaster, also to  consider that Halo series is also widely popular for their Multiplayer. you cant deny it that for existing Xbox one owner this is a must buy. and about HD collection being a system seller there is always the first time.

It's good for fans I guess but I'm not sure what there is to counter. Both companies are putting out some good games in the coming months.
