2001 or 2008 for me

2001 had: Paper Mario, Mario Party 3, Luigi's Mansion, Super Smash Bros Melee, Pikmin, and Resident Evil Code Veronica X.

2008 had Super Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Animal Crossing City Folk, and LittleBigPlanet.

I'll go with 2001

1993 - Best game ever made -->DooM and also:

Mortal Kombat 2, Super Street Fighter 2, Star Fox, X-Wing, Secret of Mana, Myst, Breath of FIre, Kirby's Adventure, Samurai Showdown, Castlevania Chronicles and Rondo of Blood, Syndicate, Mega Man X, Shadowrun, Actraiser 2, Zombies ate my Neighbors, Virtua Fighter, Super Mario All Stars, Sonic CD, 7th Guest, Sam and Max hit the road, 

93 is followed closely by 1997 and 1998.

I'll have to go with 2007 also. So many great games that year. 1998 is pretty close also IMO.
