The truth can be funny.

I don't agree with the "truth" part, but you're certainly right with the "funny" part!

Cant believe Killzone 2, infamous, demons souls and uncharted 2 were all in the same year! Just based on that i'd say 2009.

on top of that there was chinatown wars, a great handheld GTA, beginning of rocksteady's batman games with Arkham Asylum. FIFA 10 actually felt next gen unlike 08 and 09, and modern warfare 2 was a beast. Was also the beginning of borderlands and bayonetta. In terms of fighting games, there was both Street Fighter IV and Tekken 6. There were also tons of other big name games including wolfenstein, ODST, RE5, left4dead 2 and empire total war (which I still need to play).
