Since these are the games most Sonic fans fanboy over, I thought I'd make a thread to see which one people on this fourm prefer!

Sonic Adventure 2 wins for me, easily. I'm not a big fan of the Genesis games tbh.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles is one of the greatest games of all time. 2D Platformer Greatness.

Just drew this on Miiverse as well. :3

I don't really like either of these titles, but if I had to choose, Sonic Adventure 2.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Bump.

I thought sonic 2 had the bigger following?

But sonic adventure wins for best minigame chao garden.

Consoles: 3DS, Wii U, and Vita soon. Super Paper Mario fan.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles for sure.

Sonic Adventure 2 is terrible except for the music and Sonic/Shadow levels. The story and the other characters' play style make me want to gauge my eyes out.

ohhhh you're one of those Sonic fans -_________-

Anyways S3&K wins because the old games are timeless

Sonic CD is the best 2D sonic games hands down.
Sonic Adventure 2 is the best 3D sonic game.
That is all.

I'm not even kidding when I say that the Sonic Adventure series are literally the worse games I've ever played. They're glitchy. The controls suck. The camera sucks. The level design is terrible. The story is terrible, and worse, intrusive. The voice acting sucks. Every stage that didn't involve Sonic and running needs to burn in hell.

The chao garden was the bomb, though.

I know it's supposed to be subjective and all that, but I honestly loose a little respect for people that still like that game, unless they're like those DBZ fans who have fond memories of the TV show as kids, but can light heartedly admit that it was shit in retrospect.

That game gave me trust issues. I used to love Sonic. Now I'm one of those people in denial, just hoping that a good 3D Sonic game is possible. I've gone of record saying that Sonic Generations was shit, but it isn't. It's not shit. Kind of lame? Sure. But it's no Sonic Adventure 1+2. Metroid Other M is better than Sonic Adventure 1+2. Terrible games. Terrible.

Everything not crossed out sums up how I feel about the Sonic Adventure games, but man did Chao raising make it all worth it! Every time a new Sonic game is announced, my first question is always, "Are they finally bringing back Chao gardens? No? Well wake me up when they do."

So Sonic 3 (and Knuckles) is the better game, but Sonic Adventure 2 has my favorite thing about the Sonic universe, so they cancel each other out for me.

Sonic adventure 1+2 versus Other M? Dude, you should make a thread about that.
