The engine isn't that much modified. Look at Arkham City on PC. The biggest difference is the addition of cars. Don't confuse gameplay and cutscenes!

Don't confuse CGI (blurry with ghosting and no aliasing) with in-engine cutscenenes (sharp with almost no aliasing) and in-engine gameplay (lots of aliasing). All 3 are here.
