Forums - Sony Discussion - Driveclub runs at 1080p 30fps

more is always better be i think i generally prefer 1080p to 60fps. i feel like, for my eyes, i can see the difference better.

eeeehhhhh....I'd rather a lower resolution and 60 fps in a racing game. I also would rather them lower the quality of the environment if that meant 1080p @ 60 fps.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

It's not a sim racer so it's not the biggest issue.

You do understand that a race track doesn't have obstacles right? They don't drop boulders on the middle of it for you to dodge lol

LOL exactly what I was going to post. This isn't Motorstorm Apocalypse.

I don't give a crap about resolution but give me 60 frames per second please.

I am interested in hearing the response for this seeing as how racing games should be 60fps.

That's odd, don't typically see racing games at 30fps.

Would be better at 480p120

It's pretty common for arcade racers. Both Need for Speed and Forza Horzon were 30fps i believe.

Well, it's more of an arcade racer than a simulation so no surprise to me. I always doubted 60fps with this game.

I didn't realise the Motorstorm games & GRID were 30 FPS. No big deal then.

60 FPS is always preferable, but WipEout 2048 taught me that even if I can see the difference, it's nowhere near enough for me to actually care.
