A new Pikmin game will get announced in 2016, we will get some footage in 2018, the release date will get announced in 2019, the game will get delayed in 2020,2022 and 2024 and the game will finally come out in 2028!

Unfortunately yeah it'll probably go the way of Starfox and F-Zero.

Pikmin 3 is over 700k isnt it on a terrible userbase? There will be a fourth, just not anytime soon

Really now? 750k (just checked) on a 6mil userbase is pretty good. The game will end up selling over a million lifetime. If a good sellng home console came out maybe we can see another, or maybe even a portable one on the next HH installment.

750k for a game on a userbase of 6 mio. isnt bad at all. Its unfortunate that every new pikmin game came out on a console that failed. Tbh i could see it coming to the 3DS or the next handheld.
Otherwise we'll see another one on the next home console.

We'll see another Pikmin game, just like we'll see another Starfox or F-Zero, whenever that will be!

On the new Nintendo console which will have either VR or holography to display all the pikmins around you so you can order them around by pointing at stuff.

is pretty poor by Nintendo's standards, even with the low userbase of the wii u. Just look at NSMBU's numbers, 3.85m for a indie-like game (prod value) is very impressive, and is probably what nintendo is looking for.

It's likely the last. It took like 10 years for the 3rd one to come out with all the delays, it sold poorly.
