Killzone 2. 3 was just as bad as I remember, but 2 was WAAAAY better than I remember the first time. It's now one of my favorite SP campaigns in any genre and I normally can NOT get into shooters. HL2, R3, and KZ2 are the only shooter campaigns I can replay nowadays.

FALLOUT 3. I played it on a buggy PS3 and thought it was ok. I loved it on PC! Though I still think Bethesda games suck hard on console...

Don't know about that, my Steam copy is still waiting for an install. :)

Actually Mass Effect 1. The first couple of times I played it I found it boring. When I decided to play it a third time my eyes were opened BIGTIME and it turned out to be one of the greatest game I have ever played :).

Final Fantasy VII, although I used to hate on it before playing it at all.

Why did you hate on it? WHY?!

Because I was an obnoxious little prick who had no idea what he was talking about.

BioShock 2. I didn't like it  that much at first, because of the weaker story and  kinda boring gameplay, but  I gave it more tries and I ended up enjoying it.

I would say Star Wars Kotor and most western rpgs. I thought the characters looked bad compared to games like Skies of Arcadia, Grandia, Final Fantasy and Star Ocean back then. Really couldn't understand the appeal.

Then I was stuck at a friend's house in another city and he had Kotor which I tried and wow I was impressed by it. It's only after that that I started to notice western rpgs.
