Incomplete title? What I am looking at, OP?

maybe he died when he wrote it

Look, if he was dying, he wouldn't bother to carve "Aaaaaaagh!", he'd just say it.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Wii U will be a success by 2015. It'll have some incredible software.

Nintendo's next handheld and console(hybrid or not) will be top of the line stuff.

It'll be released by 2018. PS5 and Xbox 3 won't be out until 2023 at the earliest.

Nintendo will have new hardware and games on the market.
The most powerful system for a few years until new competition from Sony and MS.

Super Mario Galaxy 3 will be a launch title.

It blows my mind. Nintendo is the only one of the big 3 that consistently kicks ass year after year in quality games, hardware sales, and profit and people always assume their doomed and should go third party. Hopefully this old chart will show that show that, because Nintendo is the most successful gamin

Add this image for you topic OP.

Except it isn't printing them money this time is it? For the first time in their existnce they're seeing losses. All the while MS are currently making billions. I agree with Kowen to an extent, the here and now is much more telling.

Nah, 3DS has entered money-printing mode and thus the third stage of the cycle. WiiU is still in the second stage because it's still doomed, but it will proceed to print money at some point in time.

...yet, Playstation is number 1 all time in home console sales. Go figure.

Yet Nintendo is the #1 all time in portable console sales.

And is #1 in software sales both in total amount and in highest selling franchises and individual games.

And is #1 in profitability and has been around the longest.

It's 3-to-1, what's the point?

Not really the full story. It's their brand that has lost a lot of value instead. Instead of dipping into their savings to keep a strong market share with aggressive price cuts and marketing, they focused only on keeping out of the red.

Sony can learn a lot from Nintendo.

In what way?

I found something of equal value to add to the original post:

Putting a bigger emphasis on software rather than hardware as far as handhelds go. Actually learning that the handheld market's key demographic is kids rather than teens and adults.
