Shoji Meguro is my favorite composer and he works at Atlus (among other great composers like Uematsu, Shimomura, Takeharu Ishimoto, Noriyasu Agematsu, etc.). Shin Megami Tensei IV also has a great OST composed by Ryota Koduka: |
Takeharu Ishimoto, good call.
I know he did Crisis Core's OST, it was incredible. What else has he done?
-Nintendo has the best classical scores.
-Sony has the best varied scores in terms of genres.
-Microsoft has very good Halo soundtracks.

The night version of Valak Mountain is my favourite soundtrack in any game, ever! It's just fantastic!
Don't think you can get much better than Koji Kondo. Utemetsu or Sugiyama come close though. I can recently recall humming a mario song from 3D Land but I can't remember humming or thinking of music composed by Sony or Microsoft developers. It takes soul to be a composer and the original composers have soul. Anyone can orchestrate music, not everyone can orchestrate great music.

I didn't say that you didn't have a "point." What I was saying was that your point was already assumed by many, and that your complaint about what this thread does is stuff you do constantly anyway. |
Excuse me?
Stuff I do constantly?
I have not posted on this site for months, and have rarely posted at all, so what is this "stuff" you are talking about? Oh right - nothing.
If people had actually realised the flaw in this entire debate, then this thread would not have left the first page, yet it is on what? Page 8 now? Meaning that you are wrong; people have not realised my point and are arguing a futile question.

I didn't say stuff you do recently. Lern2Reed. What I was saying was that almost every post I remember from you incited some kind of fighting. Surely you remember that?
Also, if you actually looked at the posts, you realize the vast majority of people are simply showing off the music from non-Nintendo IP's to prove that this thread is being ridiculous. Your "point" is hardly a point, anyway because no one really thought "OP meant Nintendo makes the music herher."
So really, you're trying to argue something everyone already realized and the thread has moved on to something a bit different than the OP. Are you one of those people who don't read the posts before posting?
What? The Last of Us, God of War 3, Little Big Planet, Fable 3, Demon Souls, Halo, there amazing soundtracks coming from a plethora of games.
Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
