Forums - Gaming Discussion - Is The Last of Us another case of undertracked PS3 exclusive?

Shipped, not sold to people. And DD too.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

I think TLOU might sell even more than Uncharted 3.

An algae bra.

All games are tracked badly especially when digital putchases are thrown in to the mix, people just like/dislike the guestimates used based in how it sits personally for them.

To be more blunt
sony fan: tlou has sold 3mill+
ms fan: tlou has sold 2.1mill (sales va shipped, digital added on etc)
nintendo fan: just wait till nintendo get around to releasing our systems sellers... youll see..

sony fan: mario sucks
ms fan: mario sucks
nintendo fan: mario rocks

sony fan: halo is so lame, whats it on now? 7?
ms fan: halo is the bomb, bring me more
nintendo fan: you wouldnt know a good game if it fathered you

and so the arguments continue until the ends of time.

Thank you. There are definitely exceptions, but this undertracked/overtracked nonsense is usually an issue with people being upset that they're not seeing what they want to see, more than anything else.

i bet all those digital downloads are just shipped and not sold to customers, and now they sitting on the servers somewhere.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

How come GT5 is about at the same number on both VGChartz and Sony's official numbers? I think VGChartz reports shipped numbers if they have it. Another example is AC3:Liberation.

Stop this nonsense. Sony is the only company that gets sold confused with shipped. There is no undertracking, if anything, Sony is overtracking.

And nobody buys digital copies, unless they are on sale.

Those are very general comments......

I would consider myself an ms fan, since I own more 360 games then anything else, and I don't like Halo either. Not because they make so many, but because they crank out new Halo's before they can think of a proper plot.

I mean when Halo 4 was announced, they announced it was a part of a new trilogy, and I feel plotwise, Halo 4 <<<<<<<<< Halo 1-3 + Reach. The games just have no plot anymore, they used to be comparable to Metroid Prime storywise, but now.....

Plus some of the new enemies in Halo 4 are just stupid. You're literally shooting dogs in the face for the majority of the game. When did Master Cheift become the Supervisor of Alien Animal Control?

Also for the Nintendo fan, a lot of people don't realize how good XenoBlade Chronicles is.

That was entirely the point, since when have console arguments been original / stray from the stereotypical?

hahaha, that was funny

you were joking, right?

Shipped and digital.

VGC tracking seems spiffin'

Bioshock infinite, and tomb raider were both announced at around 3.5~ sales after about one month. And VGC tracked them at around 2.something. It has to do with shipped/vs sold, or vgchartz just being bad in general. Not magical bias. But I guess if it is undertracked it would be "another" Ps3 exclusive undertracked.
