As someone who has never even looked at a PS Plus subscription, I never knew it was cheaper than Live.

cause psn needs the money to make it better. plain and simple. if $5 a month is too much then next gen gaming might not be for you. not to mention finding it much cheaper on amazon around xmas.

I thought it was just speculation that it would be able to stream PS3 games, so this is nice news. I imagine it will be just for digital titles.

I can't stand the double-standards. People here will accept it, after Live took the heat for years over its subscription model.

It is extra money per year but I will accept it as the free games keep coming. I never tried plus tough so it's a nice oportunity to try it!

While not happy it is required, I pay for Xbox Live so why not this.

Plus, I already pay for it just to get the free games so I guess not much will change. I just hope the price doesnt increase to much. Cause 100+ a year for 2 consoles will start to get expensive

I was going to get a PS4 until I found out about this. I haven't had LIVE this whole generation, and I hate the fact that I have to pay extra to play a game I already bought, so I don't do it.

And if you want to talk about double standards, try digging up old threads about this, when it was just rumors. 99% of the posts says it's unaccptable if Sony would do this ... now look at all the apologists.
