Not talking about hardcore melee fans, but competitive melee fans. The main worry is that Brawl has been dumbed down to that the skill gap between a casual and competitive player is small. The apparant lack of depth in Brawl would stop it being played competitively as much, which is what kept Melee alive for so long.

Of course this is being debunked day by day on that forum.

what do u mean? is there still wavedashing in brawl?

Ugh, no.  Pay freaking attention...and stop spamming posts in every thread...it's getting on my nerves...

Wavedashing is out.  He means there are OTHER techniques and playstyles being developed day by day that show that Brawl is just as competitive as Melee.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

There is no wavedashing in Brawl wiiforever.

Edit: Argh Ben, you post quickly, you are a worthy opponent.

The new things being discovered and tested are actually pretty interesting.

Yeah, I guess I never really tried again...I figured the game would be laggy or something, is it easy to join or create matches? How exactly does that work?

Just google Projec64K and get the .13 version, then get your Smash Rom, once you got that you can go ahead and start net play, find a server (I use Emularena Grounds and Godhand) then just create game or join someone elses Smash Brothers game and you're set.  Other then that if you have controllers for your PC you can set those up as well (you'll really want to as most people who play it online have one) I personally have a controller converter to use my GC controller on my PC. Project64K comes with everything you need but if you get deeper into it you can find plugins that work best for you.

MaxwellGT2000 - "Does the amount of times you beat it count towards how hardcore you are?"

Wii Friend Code - 5882 9717 7391 0918 (PM me if you add me), PSN - MaxwellGT2000, XBL - BlkKniteCecil, MaxwellGT2000

I have a decent PC gamepad...I might have to try that.

Glad to see Sakurai and Kojima using my hopefully preferred control method haha.

Just wondering Bacon, why would you prefer that order? What's your reasoning for why it should be that way?

I have no idea! XD

I just put the 4 from the original first, followed by Melee characters, followed by Brawl characters, followed by Melee WTF character, followed by Brawl WTF character.

i think JigglyPuff is a bit late (wasn't Jigg the first character unlocked in melee)?

Jigglypuff was the first unless you did Classic with Mario. Then Dr. Mario was unlocked first.

does anyone know if there is going to be lighting mode...cause thats all i played in melee....regular melee is too slow for me

"If new things are so great, where have they been the whole time?"

^too slow? how is it too slow? were u always using Ganandorf or Bowser?
