I got moderated recently and I have a question.

If someone gets banned for trolling, why is it against the rules to call them a troll?

Great to see so many troublemakers dealt with Fun fact - 60% of all VGChartz moderations take place in JayWood threads.

Yeah lots of permabanned members make new accounts and think we don't notice, but we have our ways.


Didnt know you could get banned for having another ID. There are work arounds though if the person uses a simple vpn client to register the other account.

As long as these users don't post, we mostly don't care.

If they cause trouble like before we permaban them immediately, since we treat newer users a bit harsher. So it doesn't even matter if we know who it is or not. Also I *think* those who can IP check users can see all IPs with which the user has ever logged in, so he'd need to constantly use the VPN to stay undetected.

We usually can already tell from their behavior and style of writing which recently permabanned user it is.
