That is pretty much standard in better games. I agree, background info in game-objects is cool and gives something to the explorer-type of player.

So you mean like in Monster Hunter, each species is special to fight. But they are not only dinosaur-like things, other monsters too. You should give a monster hunter that is available on the platform of your choice a try with this whishes towards a game.
