I look back at this thread, and I believe this is certainly a possibility.

Let's have a look at the current SW status for the Vita this year.

PSV 1,216,792 (-67%) 5,371,598

Yeah, it's shockingly depressing. So if we guess the figure will be, say, treble this come the end of the year, we get around 5mil. Pokemon X and Y should hit that comfortably, so even beating the ENTIRE VITA LIBRARY seems possible now.

This thread is very bold. I mean we don't even know if the Vita can get to 15 retail releases this year. :P

mmm.. hard to say.
I think it will easily outsell the top 15 Vita games,
We all know that this next pokemon title will be huge. Heck, I´m not a fan of the series, so far I only played Black Version and even so I´m getting hyped.
I just don´t think it will sell 15+ million... that would be an wooping attach rate of about 45 %.
10 million for the first year must be enough.

Whilst true, I did this thread towards the start of the year. Who knew sales would take such a nose-dive.

Well, that doesn't say much when 60% of Vita software sales are digital.

i highly doubt 60% but even if your right and 40% are retail that means Vita software this year are around 2.5mil in 6 months. All i kno is God Eater 2 + Killzone are the biggest releases and AC if it comes along with another COD, but i dont see more than 12mil, especially when ps4+X1 comes since everybody's money is going to be toward them
